Description

If you’re the kind of traveler who loves getting off the beach towel and into authentic Cyprus culture (with a side of camel giggles and donkey charm), then this day tour is your golden ticket.

I hopped on this bus from Ayia Napa expecting a few pretty views and maybe a lace souvenir.

What did I get? A full-blown Cypriot experience with cobbled streets, ancient chapels, donkey milk soap (yes, that’s a thing), and some serious camel side-eye.

Let me walk you through it…

Payment and Booking

You will pay only a tiny part of the amount through PayPal (a deposit) at the time of payment.

That way, we can reserve a place for you on the tour and guarantee your place.

You will pay the rest of the payment (The balance) for the tour to the driver/guide (in cash) at the beginning of the tour.

First Stop: Lefkara – Where Lace is Life

Our journey starts with Lefkara, one of Cyprus’s most charming villages—Instagram gold. It’s all stone alleys, flower-draped balconies, and locals hand-stitching lace like it’s 1481.

(Which, fun fact, is when Leonardo da Vinci supposedly popped by and left with a lace souvenir for Milan’s cathedral—because obviously.)

Stroll through the narrow streets, peek into the Folklore Museum, admire ancient chapels like the Holy Cross, and check out that olive mill older than your great-grandparents. It’s a picturesque punch of tradition and artistry.

Golden Donkeys and Even Better Vibes

Next up: Skarinou village and the “Golden Donkeys” farm. This place is adorable chaos. Think goats, chickens, a cozy Cypriot house, and a shop filled with olive oil and donkey milk goodies. Yes, donkey milk. Cleopatra was onto something.

You can stroll around, meet the animals, and, if you’re up for it, hop on a donkey for a scenic ride (it’s an extra cost, but totally worth it for the photos alone).

I skipped the spa and rode a donkey instead. I have zero regrets.

Camel Park Madness – Not Just for Kids

Final stop: the Camel Park in Mazotos. Don’t let the name fool you—it’s a mini amusement park for all ages.

Camels, yes, but also ponies, lemurs, swings, a swimming pool (!), bumper cars, a mini train, and even a mirror room where I had an accidental existential crisis.

You can ride a camel (they’re chill), grab a bite (lunch not included), or just lounge by the pool with a frappe.

It’s got considerable funfair energy and is a great way to end the day.
