First Stop: Gladiators and Mosaics (But Mostly Views!)
The adventure kicks off at Ancient Curium (Kourion), an archaeological superstar perched on a cliff with views so dramatic, they deserve their own soundtrack.
I stood in a Greco-Roman amphitheater where actual gladiators fought (my drama queen selfie was very on-theme), then strolled through the House of Eustolios.
The mosaics? Still more intact than my post-lunch beach body.

Onward to Paphos: Mosaics, Myths & Mediterranean Vibes
Paphos (or Pafos) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but let’s be honest—it is also an Instagram dream.
I opted to enter the House of Dionysus (you can decide at the spot, it’s €4.50), and the floor mosaics told better stories than half the TV I watch.
After that, I had a glorious 2+ hours of free time around Paphos Harbour.
Like a sun-soaked cat, you can eat, shop, people-watch, or chill by the sea.
Lunch isn’t included, but your appetite will be, trust me.
A Sweet Stop in Geroskipou
Before I could even think about snoozing off lunch, we stopped at Geroskipou village, home of traditional Cyprus Delights. One tasted the samples (twice, for science), and yes, I took a box home.
My suitcase still smells like rosewater.
Aphrodite’s Rock: A Mythical Swim Stop
Just when I thought the day couldn’t get more legendary—boom! We hit Petra tou Romiou, aka Aphrodite’s Rock.
This is the goddess’s mythical birthplace, and rumor has it that swimming around it will bless you with eternal beauty.
I didn’t swim around it… But I did take a hundred selfies just in case.
